Debating if I need more time off or if I just have to go fish.

Considering a trip to Homer to start prospecting for kings.  Second alternative is to float the lower or middle  kenai river for cohos.

The problem is if I am fishing Homer, High tide is at sunrise.  The Condo area is 10 times better as the tide is falling.  Means an early start.... I think its still a tad early in the year.   But ya never know....

I always want to go fishing but I 'm sticking around my neighborhood, I may make a short cruise to Big Lake, I met some guys in Seward that had pictures from the week before of some pretty big Char from there.  I may try Homer on the following weekend. Kodiak sans kayak on the 11th-14th.

Ugh. Didn't make it out. Maybe Seward tomorrow. Avoid the snaggers. Look for a silver and then bits and pieces for halibut. Forecast got uglier in the inlet. .

Tried Seward a few hours. Dead. Stayed over by millers landing. Tried silvers and deeper. A few cod for my efforts.
