The other day I landed on the beach in Waldport with my little coho midst a line of bankies. As I was walking up to offload my fish at the truck I heard..."He caught that EFFer from that EFFin' kayak!" So EFFin' must be good. I love the way we talk in Oregon, being able to say EFFin' twice in one sentence.

On a kayak trip, a friend of mine, who is kind of a potty mouth, said to us, "You f___ing f___ers are f___ed."  Which by my count involved using the "F" word as three different parts of speech in one sentence.

I've twice heard those on power boats refer to anyone on a Hobie as "bicyclist". Once on the Wood River and the other at Drano.

pearl = to capsize on an incoming wave by going over the nose of your kayak

I'd like to offer a minor correction to your list Brian:

pearl = Submerging the nose of your kayak while riding a wave.  It's possible to recover but may result in a pitchpole
Pitchpole = Being ejected over the nose of your kayak

Shaker = A sublegal sturgeon.  Is sometimes used to describe any unwanted by-catch.

Having spent 4 years on active duty in the US Navy 50+ years ago, the F word was just a normal part of the vocabulary....like it or knot  ;)

At ORC the PB crowd was referring to groups of kayakers as a "Tupperware party."

Swim = Exiting your kayak into the water after a capsize.

Swim beer = The beverage a rescued swimmer customarily purchases for his rescuer, to show his gratitude and ensure future rescues.

Wood Shampoo = Fish bonker.

SINK = Sit in kayak.

Insayn--I believe a "wood shampoo" is a verb rather than a noun. It means the act of using a wood bonker or wood handled gaff to kill a landed fish.
I can't help it--it's the teacher in me coming out!!
