So, went and did it, purchased DWB123's tarpon 140, will take delivery tomorrow. Really looking forward to learning how to kayak fish. Plan on starting out on some of the local lakes, (Hagg) and the Multnomah channel to get comfortable, then possibly do some saltwater fishing in the bays over the summer. Figure a nice priced, used kayak is a good way to start, once I learn a little bit and get comfortable I can decide if I want to move up to one of the pedal models, will see what happens down the line. Want to thank all those who took the time to answer my questions, and also those that have posted tutorials and how-to's on this forum. Hope to see you on the water in a week or so,
John

Congrats! That's going to be a great boat for all kinds of fishing. I really like that model.
