Yep, April or May would be right.  Took like 4 months to get mine.

Another thing to consider is how a used boat is rigged.  A late model used boat in good condition with upgraded turbo fins/sailing rudder, a couple flushmounts or rod holders in the right places, a good GPS/fishfinder and battery box all mounted up can represent several hundred dollars...and significant time.

I think it's almost shameful, that Hobie just doesn't make the turbo fins standard.

Yeah, $100 for two small steel rods and two rubber flaps is ridiculous.

Turbo kits seem to be $129 according to all the quotes I'm seeing.

I'm new to the whole Hobie thing, but it seems they are quite extravagant across the board about pricing.

Well, stock is abysmal, with no one having any.   Reportedly due to small parts that were outsourced overseas being balled up in the shipping strike.

Found one in MN, but the dealer doesn't want to ship it due to too many past shipping problems and damaged boats.   Talk about disappointing.

Apparently Hobie and it's dealers aren't terribly hungry at the moment.

I wouldn't say extravagant...after I snapped my rudder assembly off being a dumbass last week, I was pleasantly surprised to see the whole damned assembly was just over $60...that's less than I was thinking it would be. Have you ever bought Harley parts?...now that's extravagant

My beef is it seems the mirage drive fins are intentionally under engineered requiring an immediate upgrade.

Are you looking for a certain color? I know at least two shops down in OR that have some, (but perhaps not the exact color you're looking for). Both shops will ship as well. Check out Kayak Shed and Next Adventure.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

I have checked with both of them and neither had any Revo 16's in stock.

Doh, my bad. Apparently I don't comprehend what I read. I was referring to the 13's I've been eyeballing. I've looked at the 16's but I like the 13 so well and giving up the extra storage space just isn't worth it for me.

Good luck!

A question for those who have used both the 13' Revolution and the 16' Revolution or Adventure: how maneuverable and fast-turning are the 16' kayaks compared to the 13' Revolution?

They turn at about the same rate.  It's more a question of turn radius, like skiing or snowboarding.  The 16 covers more distance to make a 180 turn than the 13 so it feels slower.  In narrow water when I'm on the 16', it can feel like running a Slalom course on GS boards.

The 16 feels plenty maneuverable 99% of the time.  If I need to turn sharper I pivot around the paddle.

I couldn't find any in stock in the PNW, so I ordered a Dune colored boat from ACK this morning.   Tried hard to spend the green locally, but simply couldn't without waiting until nearly summer.

The 6 day shipping time is going to feel like 6 months in any event.
