Tillamook Bay May Day: after party & and after math

I will have to get back to you on the fonts.... Don't let me forget been a busy few days trying to get the prizes donated without killing my brain..... We will be eating after the weigh in and if I can get a volunteer cook with a bbq to bring I will throw down 4-5 (2)lbs packages of ground elk burger to grill up? more if needed..... Any volunteers for coordinating the food end?

Mojo jojo I'm in and will be there may 1st ready to fish!! Two of us will be coming out for the event, possibly even a third.
 Hopefully my donkey kong zzzz don't loose my phone on the way....haha....
  Seriously we are stoked to come out and fish and meet some of you guys!

Oh and now that I have read most of the posts, sry I'm a little slow..ha....nice work on everything Shannon!!!! I know how much work goes into organizing and event, and ya I will probably take  more shirts than we talked about! Don't think you will have a tough time hitting that 20 mark.

Thanks sherm I pmed bb and hadn't got it posted yet ,you joining the festivities? I'm trying to real in a couple of good sponsors and have the City of Garibaldi ready to back us up on there tourism page I'm just trying to get all that want to sponsor on the board for the shout out. This is going to be an annual event so I hope to grow each year and want to thank the guys that I have been annoying for input. You know who you are and everyone else will at the potluck.
Im off to hit up Tillamook area for more prizes.

The Headlight Herald paper here in Tillamook wants to run the event in the paper so if you have a sponsor interested in stepping in to help promote the event or sponsor the event pm me for contact information so we get them on the sponsors page and in the paper , also possibly on the local radio. The paper will also have the complete list of competitors and there place after the event.

Rules to come but we're doing single biggest legal retention stringer in 3 categories sponsors sheet is growing and I will update it regularly

The Old Mill is giving us use of the event building with a kitchen and patio for the potluck dinner so rain or shine we will be indoors for the awards and food. I plan to do the awards and food kind of at the same time so we're not running too late for those not staying. Diner at 5pm , I have a volunteer with two tregor grills to grill up the elk burgers I'm bringing as well as anything someone wants to bring meat wise.
No takers on coordination of the food so I will try my best to tackle it.
Please post up anything you can bring to help the in chow line and I will post up what were needing as we get closer , also post up what kinds of "dish" you can bring.
Got some additional swag being donated to the event by a few of the members..... I will let them drop there names here or I will drop them at the diner.
Already been asked about a beer sponsor and haven't asked anyone yet but I'm hitting up Pacific City for donations since most of us fish there when we can ,so I can hit up the Pelican unless someone else wants to offer up the sponsor for the adults beverages.

 I never really thought about it but I may be able to bring a few item from my sponsoring dealer for the event. I will check it out and let you know but I'm sure we can donate some swag from Idaho too!

 Looks like participation in this event is growing. Well done Shannon.
 As the prize list grows it's possible that even more folks will want to show up. Though I don't think that prizes should  be a main motivator.

 That said I will bring down a few chainsaw carvings to donate as you see fit.
 Razor clams--- carved from western red cedar--approx. 16" tall.
 "Little Beast"--- a more compact version of "BigFoot".--- <36" tall.
