Made a vid of team Roy(royg and myself) shooting the gap at Sunset. It was my first time and i'll admit to being a little nervous, that's why my head  was on a swivel. It was pretty fun though and really makes the journey to the north side of sunset quick.

See ya on the water..

Yikes... those swells surging through the rocks, creating those eddies gave me the heebie jeebies.  You guys make it look like a cakewalk.

Looks like fun.  Was it a particularly rough day to try this "stunt", or is this as good as it gets?

Yeah man! Reminds me of some great rockfish spots in NorCal. Nothing better than shooting the rocks on the way out!

Is it my imagination or did you scream like a little girl when you bottomed out?   >:D

Don't you love it when you're shooting a rock gap and you see your fish finder display a depth of Zero?!?!?  :o
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

It was semi rough on the outside, but not huge. By the time we were ready to come back it was alot rougher so we portaged  across the rocks and beach. That's when i really bottomed out on some rocks.
See ya on the water..
