Going to be exploring and playing in the South Oregon Coast in a couple of weeks. Definitely going to be getting salty with the yak if possible (conditions permitting), but also looking for recommendation on fishing Charters on the South Coast. Preferably freshwater (Rogue or others)for that, but not sure if that's going to be too early for Springers and too late for Steelies? I've only checked with 5star so far and they are not available. Any recommendations?

I've been on Prowler from Bandon twice for halibut and tuna and I recommend them.  They are probably doing bottom fish , I suppose.

Probably will be too late for steelhead and too early for springers on the Rogue.  I'll ask around about guides/charters and get back to you.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

I have no personal experience with them, but these folks were mentioned several times: Wild Rivers Fishing (http://www.wildriversfishing.com/rogue.html).

Helen Burns got Honorable Mention (I also have no personal experience with her): http://www.helensguideservice.net/index.html

Hope this helps, and Good luck!
