Shannon, you ought to prepare a list of the user names and actual names of May Day competitors and post it, for the convenience of those who don't know all the competitors personally.  Or maybe have name tags with both names?

Of course there may be some celebrities and individuals in the witness protection program who prefer the retain the anonymity of using their user name.

The "witless" protection is what we're all about around here I would never post up real names of guys that don't have them on there signature. I'm hoping guys have all ordered tee shirts so we will have names on there. Personally with my head injury 5years ago I now have a horrible short term memory so to those of you here I pre-apologize if it takes me a while to remember your name.

By not knowing names to faces going into these kinds of events, it forces one to walk up and introduce themselves and make a new acquaintance.
If your a shy guy, well it may take you longer to meet new folks.

What he said.  To some degree, name tags actually reduce interaction because you tend to think you know people by their screen persona.
