Wow, that's simply awesome!  Normally I would think the turbidity is a bit high, and if I did decide to go, I'd use a flasher to get their attention.  I love it when the "rules" are broken!

Congrats.  I'm impressed how you ran to Bi-mart after the first one to get a new rod and went out and caught another.

There's that saying "don't leave leave fish to find fish". He went to bimart and came back and found the same fish lol.

Thanks again guys.
I went out there again this morning for a couple of hours and ran into a couple of other kayakers which was cool. There seemed to be a little more pressure in that spot and not a whole lot of action. Amazingly, I did manage to land the only fish I saw caught while I was out, making it 3 springers in a little more than 24 hours. I just don't know what to say, but it seems like I have really come into salmon fishing form with my new boat and that makes me really stoked.
Thanks so much to this forum for helping inform me when it came to choosing and rigging a boat and all the motivation I get reading about other folks catching fish in kayaks. I really hope that Devin (hope that's right) managed to re-hook the fish he lost this morning and that Hugh helped give the pb's a clinic too!

Great job - that is awesome!  Looks like you've got the speed, and presentation that worked and you are in the zone.

I was there a couple weeks ago, with nothing happening.  Looks like it is time to visit again - hope I'll see you there.  Thank you for the report.

Another one bites the minnowmagnet.  YEAH!

You're the one putting on the clinc, making everyone else look bad.  Didn't you get the memo which states you have to sandbag on catching a salmon or at least reporting pictures about it for 2 years?

I've got to ask:  What do you consider to be the difference that put fish on your line rather than those around you?

-Mark-
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
