Hello there...

As requested, I'm simply introducing myself.  I live in Mukilteo, have some kayaking experience, but very new to fishing from a kayak. I hope to learn quite a bit, and this site was recommended.  Any advice for someone who is new to the fishing half of kayaking, I'm all ears.

Thanks!

Welcome aboard see more :) any advice from me should be taken with great caution.  Can't wait to hit the sound this summer for some pinks. Laughing steelhead

Edmonds here - hope to see kayaker by Ship Wreck.  I launch at Picnic Point.  In 2013 caught 24 Pinks out on my PA by just casting Buzz Bombs.  it was a blast. I just got a TI and will sail from Edmonds pier to the Wreck with my 13 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter.  It took 45 min to get there on my PA and it also has a sail, but it is limited to 10 mph wind.

Thanks everyone - Shipwreck, South Whidbey, both sides of the lighthouse and more are right in my back yard, so it would be good to network with folks who know the area (and actually catch something) ;)

I'll be out early on wed.Start at Lighthouse park and drift down to Shipwreck.I am new to salmon fishing so I will be mostly doing checks on my set- ups and enjoying the air.I'm not too familiar with the currents there.Any homework material or informative resources would be appreciated.
