Sweet! Great pictures! I'm gearing up to try for springers this year, and I appreciate the stoke.

Right on! you don't catch one every day but when you do it makes you feel like a champ.
I was out at Sellwood again today and only saw a few fish caught. I got another springer today but it had that unattractive fin sticking out near the tail. I heard a kayaker named John got one right above Sellwood Bridge too. Don't wait for the big fish ladder counts and definitely don't wait for the water to hit 60 because plenty of biters are already and have already been here. Good luck and I can't wait to see the pics!

Were you under the Hawthorne bridge today? I ran over it around 620pm and saw a kayak down there, slightly up river of the bridge.

Netted a beautiful native.  Sad to see it go but I hope it makes lots of babies!  That thing had good genes for sure.

Awesome looking fish! I bet that native had a lot of HP under the hood. Nice job. You mind me asking where you launch? I steamed down and back from Sellwood last time and that really cut into my fishing time.
Thanks dude

And some of us (me in particular) are goofing off and checking the forum when we should be working.

I launch off the paddle craft dock near OMSI. Down and back from Sellwood would turn your day into a kayak trip instead of a fishing session for sure.
