New member, new boat, new species.

I live in Milwaukie, am proof positive that you can't have too many boats (2 Plywood & 2 skin on frame touring yaks, 2 rowboats, sail and motorboat).  I've paddled rivers lakes and The Sound in my 30# kayaks for 20 years. I've fished a bit of this and that from shore.  I have 12yo twins that adventure with me periodically as well as the wife and little one when they can.

I'm assuming a new aquatic identity and bought a 60# beast (Trident 15) at Next Adventure's recent sale specifically for targeting salmon in the river and offshore stuff.  I'm working on keeping a positive attitude about the arm stretching and cold legs of this new craft.

I've never targeted salmon before, but attended the NA/NWKA seminar a couple weeks ago and have been paying the dues trolling off Sellwood, drowning perfectly good herring and salivating at the huge sonar marks.

I'm really looking forward learning all this new stuff and love the community spirit I've seen here. Hope to see you on the water.

Welcome BFD! You sound like someone I know...  ;D

Looking forward to your first pictures/stories. How do you like that T15?
