How about a Newbie Frequently Asked Questions Forum?

Being a newbie there are several questions that I have and I find myself searching through several forums prior to asking the questions.  Thought if there was a specific forum for us to ask the questions then there would become a library of FAQ for future newbies

Could be a newbie start here title.

I like this idea and I think we've tried to do certain things in this direction before but haven't ever focused it an effective way. Really all it would take is going back through and compiling a bunch of different posts/discussions. It's not as if we have a lack of material already on the site, it's just a matter of organizing it all in a way that makes it super easy for new users to access. FAQ #1: How do I use the search function.

Ok so what would be the next steps?

I say just ask the questions.  There is sort of a progression that  happens on forums.  The new guys ask questions, the guys with a little experience answer them, the experienced guys get annoyed, and the OG's sit back and watch all the fun.  And every now and then you graduate to the next level.

I've heard that before somewhere... OG just cant remember where.

Lol. Yah. 4 years later and I'm still a noob.  But I will say that in many ways I don't give the best advice because I forget how it was when I first started. Both the good and bad. To me catching a fish is my report card. If you hear me say "no fish, but man was it beautiful!!" That means I gave myself an F for the day. Lol.

But I think back and really my first few months I had a blast trying to catch fish. And eventually I was lucky to catch a few.

Sometimes the best advice comes from those with similar experience levels (pro's get more from other pro's experience. Same thing for me and the beginners. )
