I think we ought to all get these and every time you unhook one give it a click.

Nice promo movie Brian!

You will likely forget to click.  Once we got to 70-80 fish any given day, we'd forget.  We just called them "100+ Fish per Day"

this is an awesome awesome trip and I highly recommend it to any and all.  No whitewater experience?  No problem.  It only took me one early catastrophe followed by an afternoon of tutelage by Spot to get me beyond comfortable all the way to fun in the rapids.  Point your butt at the current.

Prepare to have your thumbs torn up.

I'll also be pinching all my barbs for an easier release.  We'll catch so many fish, I won't mind losing a few of them.

Will I be responsible for carrying my dry bags or will there be room in support raft?  I'm not sure if I'm going to take a full sleeping bag or a heavy blanket.  the nights might get chilly, especially if it rains.

I'll need to do a mock setup to see how I'm packing my gear I suppose.

It does get cool at night. I'm going the week after you and will bring my full sleeping bag. I self support fro several days on a trident 15 and everything fits inside the boat. I even have room for a camp chair and cold beer.

Looks like a great trip.

There are still a couple spots open for those interested.

Also, due to current flows the launch has been changed to Clarno and the take out is now Thirty-Mile. This is a shorter section but it will provide us with more fishing time and less paddling time.

I've only managed to pack one dry bag so far.  Tent, Sleeping bag and pillow.  Not sure what else I'm taking at this point. (other then my fishing gear)

that's a great idea.  I might need to pick a set up while I'm at the store today.

The water is dropping quickly with all of the irrigation going on.  The fishing was as expected.  Lots of small bass.  It was a lot of fun.
