You need to make sure your trailer can handle your kayak. Don't skimp. Don't make mistakes you will regret. Follow my lead.

the hand crank will make it easier to recover the yak.  Ha!

Nice project trailer.

Whew man that's a killer trailer! Those EZ-"un" loader trailers are sweet, better reinforce your load straps for extra piece of mind, hate to see the yak take a ride when your not ready....lol

But like Justin says, hey at least the crank handle will assist in the recovery of the wounded yak.

Nice idea!  The way we're going here I could need to haul 3-4 yaks at a time.  Stacking them on my truck would be crazy (way too high).  Time to troll craigslist...

I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

I am about to finish my kayak trailer but was afraid to post pictures for fear of "ever hear of OVERKILL" comments .... so I do like how you think.

That's hysterical.  I just bought a PA14, and spent about a month deliberating how to transport it...rack, trailer, new car, etc.

Fortunately, my wife eventually intervened, reminding me that, after spending 4K on a boat with no motor, I had already long-exceeded my annual fishing stipend.

Needless to say, I figured out a way to get it up on top of my Honda Pilot and transport it where I need it to be.  Let's just hope my back holds up.
Plan your work, and work your plan.
