Well I'd go but without jammer and spot showing up,, winning it would be meaningless....hahaha. I jest. One day I'll make it....

I hope you do make it down sometime Rudy. I know a lot of people on here would like to shake your hand.
All you have to do is show up..... everything else could be provided for you.
Make it happen--------one of these days.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I'd love to put faces to names for sure. I think I will just plan for it next year or another area tournament.  It's be a blast for sure!!!

Hmmm...ok, bring a few new AK tricks and show up early to pre-fish.  Gotta gotta gotta put this on the calendar!!!!!

shhhhh.... trying to break Rudys habit of winning everything he gets into,,, including his own tournaments... >:D

Yeah, and that would be like converting a shark to go vegan.   ;)

Will be my first.  I have never been to Chinook Bend campground, is there any paticular campsite I should avoid?

YES! Avoid the ones with colorful kayaks...those people are just not right in the head  ;D

But seriously there is limited shade spots for tent camping, first come first serve otherwise its pretty much just a wide open grassy field area

A big thanks to all the Ol' Salts for support. I had a great day on the water for my first go. I only wish I had the time to pre-fish, learn the area, and figure some stuff out before failing on the water. I saw some awesome fish hauled in, but alas one of those was not me. Next time I will get em.

On a fun note, I heard the tell tale whale blow to my left, looked and saw the whale at about 20 yds going back under as it was headed toward me. Pretty good stuff.
