Area 3/4 closed tomorrow for halibut

The quota isn't going to last for two more days of fishing so it looks like it will be closed tomorrow and open on Saturday.  This is coming from people talking directly to WDFW. I saw a copy of the email so it seems pretty set.

This is so typical of the ever-increasing incompetence of the agency. They will say "we don't WANT to do this and find no joy taking opportunity away from anglers, especially at the last minute" which is absolutely true. But it doesn't mean they aren't incompetent.

Radio Shack didn't WANT to go bankrupt. Hoover didn't WANT to country to slide into a depression. Wanting the right thing to happen doesn't necessarily equal good management.

Unsworth is off to such a bad start.

don't get me wrong, it sucks bigtime - both the closure and the short notice of it, BUT since they're taking one day anyways, I'm happy they're closing it Thursday instead of Saturday, because we've got a small-craft advisory tomorrow, and Saturday looks much, much better at this point (no jinx, no jinx, no jinx).

I feel sorry for the guy answering the phone.
