Looking forward to meeting a lot of you from the forum this weekend. Just got the email saying the token was mailed out, hopefully it gets here before Thursday (I'm heading up early to camp a little and get a practice day in). See you all this weekend.

UPDATE: THIS IS WRONG. SEE BELOW.

Assuming the location is the same as it was last year, this is where the weigh-in will be (red circle).

Don't be confused (like me) and go to the marina and then have a blank look on your face. It was like that scene in National Lampoon's Vacation when they finally get to Wally World.

Looks like I'll be making the early, early morning drive to pick up a token....

Besides being a free fishing weekend in Oregon it is also "Oregon State Parks Day" on Saturday June 6th.

http://www.oregonstateparks.org/index.cfm?do=v.dsp_featureArticle&articleId=124

So.. free fishing and no day use fees.

The location will actually be different this year as there is construction on going at that location right now. We were hoping that they would be done by now but unfortunately it's construction.

We will be set up near the Luhr Jensen Beach. There will be signs directing from Exit 63 to the location. We will also be having our demo day at the same time if you'd like to try out a new model.

That's the park across from Pfriem right? That's a great little park.  (Yes, my orientation in Hood River is always relative to brewery locations).

Any updates on how many are registered for this event?

I heard there was a big push on sign ups yesterday and the day before. We should be right around the same size crowd we had last year. I'm very pleased (not that I expect any of you all to worry about what I think  ;)) and thankful to everyone that is turning out for this. It's going to be a rollicking good time.

So, where we go to pick up tokens and sign waivers if we signed up late?  Also, what time will someone from the Kayak Shed be there?

Yes it is across from Pfriem.

It looks like we will have approximately 25 participants

Stoked Coffee is where you can find me to get tokens/waiver forms if you register day of (Cash only please). Map is here: http://bit.ly/1FwzuAp. I will be there at about 7:30.

Am I the only one who has not received their token? I'll call in a few minutes, but I was just curious if everyone else has gotten theirs. I'd really like to launch at first light... I signed up weeks ago.

Good luck to everybody this weekend.  I wish I could be there.  I'm headed up to Wallowa Lake in a few hrs.  Hopefully I'll have a nice report on Monday.

As always, the folks at Kayak Shed were easy to work with and everything is resolved.

See y'all at the weigh-in!

We had a great tournament and I believe everyone had a good time. I know I had a great time seeing you all up here.

A couple big shout outs Id like to make before getting into placements and pictures.

A big thank you to Trokar Hooks, Werner Paddles, Sportsman's Warehouse, Columbia Gorge Organics and Fish Grips for providing goodies for the captain's bags.

A HUGE thank you to the prize sponsors-

Bomber Gear
Sportsman's Warehouse
Jackson Kayak
Ice Mule Coolers
Windpaddle Sails
NRS
and a really big thank you to John Hart, owner of Kayak Shed.

The BIGGEST thank you though goes out to YOU our participants. I'd like to thank everyone who made it out to this event. Your support and attendance again this year has ensured that we will be doing it again for a THIRD time next year. We raised over $600 for HOW Portland.

And now finally your top ten -
