Rudy, You really need to take up writing for an outdoor magazine. That's the kind of story that makes people keep coming back for more.

Goddess, losing a 'butt as large as you think it was, especially after such an epic fight, is heart rending. To post it in such a great entertaining way, shows the true measure of a legend in the making.
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

Ah, Rudy... my thoughts are with you in this dark period. Try not to cry over what is lost, but smile as you remember the times you had.

And I hope your smile is a wide as mine was after I recognized the clever trick.  I'm never playing poker against you, and that's a fact.

Bait up, Dude, and get out there!

Thanks all.  It was a great learning experience for sure!

Thanks WR!  I am a terrible writer except when it comes to writing about htings I really love like fishing.  Probably true for everyone.  But I enjoy doing it especially if I am not wasting peoples time!!

There's always another Barbie willing to dance, and in Alaska, they all come with fat butts.    ::)

Rudy, no need for a PM.  I'll freely admit - in public - how easily sucked-in I was: I opened this post with my blood running cold, fearing that I was going to read a sad, sad tale of a tragic lost love.  Between people.

I was sick thinking about it - all in your behalf, you understand - and I was already compiling a list of platitudes in my mind until I got into it about a paragraph deep and "Barbie" hit me between the eyes and I uttered a deep groan - and started to question your ancestry (using mostly four-letter words).

Excellent tale, my man.

Haha.  Guilty since I typically don't write stories. But typical fishing reports are boring too!! Sorry about that!  lol.  We will try for a happier ending this weekend!!!!

But if win the derby and its with a Barbie Pole...it'll be the last derby probably because I bet my kayaks have subtle holes in them the next time I go out alone.  Ok.  I'll probably just pre-fish with her or associated friend.  lol.
