Anyone interested in meeting up at Hagg to chase around some Rainbows Friday June 5th?   They are scheduled to stock 4000 legals that week  :banjo:.  There might even be some decent Bass action if the weather stays warm.  I usually get there around 8AM and stay till about 1PM.  I usually park in the big gravel parking lot on the other side of the dam and launch at the paddle craft launch area there.

Where we launch at is a great spot especially for newer kayakers.   No power boaters to contend with.  It's a great spot to get your sea legs and even practice some self rescue if you want.  I plan on doing some self rescue Friday myself.  I haven't decided yet if I am going to wear my drysuit or just bring a towel and some extra clothes...
Right now the weather outlook is low 80s so I may just bring extra clothes.

Just a reminder that we will be heading out to Hagg Lake tomorrow.  I hope to see a small fleet of Tupperware floating out there.

BTW... I'll have my vhf radio with me and monitoring channel 69.

Slow day of fishing on Hagg Lake today.  Only one fish between 4 boats but it was a great day for paddling.   Took the time to do some self rescue practice and found out that I need more practice.  At least the water wasn't too cold.

I expect my rescuing a poodle on Lake Langlois (WA) may make somebody's YouTube.  Silly dog decided to go for a swim from the launch then became stuck on the far side of a log.  I heard the thing splashing from 100 yards out trying to climb out, and I picked it up and delivered it back to the owner at the launch.

Only thing I caught all day.
