If you have transducer fit issues on the new Raymarine 4 & 5 units on Jackson kayaks here's a simple fix.

* Jackson Kayak fishing kayaks have been equipped with a molded-in pocket that is designed to accept the CPT-60 transducer supplied with Dragonfly 6 and 7 products.

* There has been a design change to the transducer supplied with Dragonfly 4 & 5 products, designated the CPT-DVS.

* The newly designed transducer will not fit the molded-in pocket present on various Jackson Kayak models.

* For those who have purchased Dragonfly 4 or 5 units for their Jackson kayaks, Raymarine will supply the legacy transducer that the pocket was designed for, free of charge.

* There is no performance difference between the two transducers and it is plug and play using a supplied adapter cable.

* Again, this does not affect the Dragonfly 6 or 7 models, as they will continue to be supplied with the CPT-60 transducer.

To get the transducer call 1-800-539-5539 and dial extension 47954. They will be asked for the serial number of the unit and a shipping address and will receive an A80195 CPT-60 transom mount transducer and an A80332 adapter cable.
