Today was a wash in the bay but we're going to try to hit PC Monday am launch looks to be doable early May hit Tillamook Bay next Sunday

We held off today because it looked sporty on the forecast tomorrow is spodda be better, we'll see.

Ran into lingbanger & Noah Troy met us out there jay and I both took 1 ling each he kept 2 bigger Seabass I kept 3 bigger ones and 3 smaller ones wasn't to bad launched at 8ish stayed out till noonish got a few sprinkles clouds every now and then with sun from time to time.

Why don't you get off the harvester and come say it to my face cowboy ? Just make sure the swells are low and the fishin's bitchin , I'll be in the ocean around haystack rock at PC

Is anyone targeting salmon out there or are you guys just getting jiggy with it?

I'll prob start out for salmon then switch if nothing is going on.

Was in the bay today, 6-8 am drop in what ever works for others I'm 30 minutes away. Just bottom fishing for me

On Monday I talked to a few of the dory men, and they said the salmon were still a bit  out. They said they were going to head out to 265 feet to give it a shot. 265 translates to 3-4 miles offshore and generally out of range for most days at PC via kayak. That being said coho will sometimes move in pretty close to rock but they won't be nearly as thick as they will be later.

Last week they were getting coho at 100-130 ( not a lot of them but good action for the boats that went out),  then that north wind came up again.  H2o temps should be getting better by Wed.  With the forecasted south winds.  I would troll from about 90 to 130 fow and see how you do early, lings are not a bad alternative if it's slow.  Crabbing in the ocean has been better at this time than in the last few years. Good size and pretty full.
