Been looking around here for awhile. Finally made the leap and pick up a Hobie Outback.
Looking forward to setting it up and doing some fishing with some fellow Kayak anglers.

Welcome Izzy.  I am in Cornelius.  There are some others on here from Forest Grove too.  I spend a lot of time at Hagg Lake although now its mostly fishing and not much catching there.  I am going to be out there Friday if you want to join me to get some seat time.  I will either be in a yellow Outback or a yellow Ocean Kayak Malibu XL 2.

Good choice. I bought an Outback for my wife. She loves it. If you get a chance try Lost Lake.

Welcome neighbor.  I too am in Forest Grove.

Usually have one or more dune colored Hobies on my Tacoma truck rack, so you may have seen me cruising through town.

Hit me up if you need help drilling your first hole in that Outback.   8)

Welcome to the forum. I was just up at Lost lake and saw a lot of fish caught.  Stay in the shade and fish the sun/shade line as it moves throughout the day. Good luck!

P.S. Be very careful of Insayne volunteering to put holes in your kayak. Im just saying...

Honestly, I can't think of a better person to help set up your kayak, trailer, cook station whatever!
