A beautiful type up and I absolutely love the double salute your getting from Langcod..... Did Langston catch anything? My initial educated guess is no!

Nobody got skunked, although Langston did take home the tiniest fish trophy.

Speaking of skunks, when I left my house that morning, a skunk crossed the road in front of me - I was wondering if that was good or bad, but now I know it was a sign that the skunk was off for that trip...

Since we are posting fish porn. Here is a shot of my 13# hen. I caught this one which started off Craig's double whammy.
Nice job Steve way to show the guys how it's started. Trolling for salmon on a yak is on my list. Maybe Jay's extra revo, Mark's extra outback or if I can peddle it long distance in it my wife's soon to be used propel, different leg action on that one. Hope to hook and land one from plastic this year, I might have to join you experts to see how it's really done.

That is awesome, Steve - congratulations!  Also, Craig way to go with the assist!!!

Shannon - so many opportunities so close to you!  Even if you miss/skip ocean/B10/other nearby rivers, you have so many swimming right past your home here in a month or two...  Get'er done!   8)

+1  Launch off any beach right now and you should be into fish quickly.  Read Mark's article in the June NWSportsmans magazine.

Deep Six Diver, Konezone (Ripper and Disco patterns have been producing) and a herring/anchovy inside a helmet.  You can cut plug, but the helmet is easy and always works.

Hell, right now you can just troll on the surface out in the ocean, specially if it's overcast.

Yeah, what Lee said.  The ocean is full of them nearby as they are getting ready to come in. Also, the Dick's sure spin helmets really make it easy and cheaper bait wise.

I'm headed down this weekend.  I'll probably be launching at the Shipwreck shortly after 1st light on Saturday and not sure where or when on Sunday.

There's a relatively small exchange and the high tides are in the morning.  To boot, the winds are forecasted to be fairly light until noon or so.  This is a great mix for fishing Hammond and above.

Looks like some soft swings this weekend. I'm looking at the green line for Sunrise on Sunday.

By Golly----- I'll meet you down there Saturday morning with some nice bright Herring.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Yeah, gonna try early Saturday or Sunday. ...if I can avoid urgent family matters. Ugh. Tide timing, swing looks too good.
Tried early Monday, knew it was all wrong, but it was my only window. ...no fish, but more bait and birds just before low tide than I'd ever seen.  Man, what a ride..that outgoing was no joke.
Good luck, everyone

Would any of you veteren Bouy 10 kayak fishers be willing to post a map showing where you launch for those of us who are new to this fishery? Apologies in advance if this has been covered a hundred times before.
