Think I need a better camera.... this one sucks

Oh... and here is a bigfoot I've been working on. His arms are too short.... but was fun to work on. He's 6' tall.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Thanks for the hook up Mark and Mark. Nice to meet you Austin and Dean. Great crew out there yesterday except for the 500 power boats.  >:D Actually most of them were cool but there are always a couple of jerks. Conditions were good otherwise until 11:30 when the fan turned on. First time fishing there and was surprised how strong the tidal surge is. It was a slow pick yesterday and only saw about 10 fish landed. Hooked a 28.5" 9# chinook on a trolled herring. Not a big fish but after 14 chrome skunks last year in NCAL, it was sweet revenge on the devil fish. It was my first NW kayak salmon. Hooked 2 cohos which were undersized and cleanly released at the boat. Will try mooching next time. My camera works better than Mark's.  ;D Life is good. Scott

It was 5-7kt when the picture was taken. Most of the chop was from the hundreds of boats. It was blowing 7-10kt by noon and most of the boats were heading in.

I'm trying to get up there Monday, Tuesday.  1st time at this fishery and pretty stoked!

The salmon bite in PC sucks right now, lots of boats coming without a single coho today.

How was the fishing those days ? Any luck ???
