Hi thre NWKA, just joined

I just joined and it looks like this group has a lot of fun.

I recently bought an Old Town Angler 13. Been going out on the lakes and would like to get out in the sound. I should have my trailer hooked up to haul 2 yaks soon. Anyplace in the sound good for the first time?

From Mill Creek I'd recommend Edmonds: (a) it's close to you, (b) the currently are usually mild, though check before you venture out, (c) it's got an easy launch site with plenty of parking, (d) the fishing grounds are very close to shore, and (e) there are usually plenty of fish around.

Welcome to the group Mark! I recommend Kayak Point or Mukilteo for a first salt trip. I'm still relatively new to kayak fishing, but you can PM me if you want someone to hit the water with. I'm up in Marysville
