Art is going to catch fish!

I have the pleasure of having Upnorthtex "Art" stay in Garibaldi for a few days to fish and he will catch some fish if I have to jump in the water and tie them to his line. We will be fishing Tuesday and Wednesday, most likely Tuesday afternoon  time (tba) in Nehalem for salmon then Wednesday the south wall in Tillamook Bay 8 am drop in. Open invitation for anyone that wants to join and fish with a dedicated and determined man.

We may have a game delay with some RV electrical so may be fishing the Nehalem Wednesday. Will try to keep you posted but rolling with the punches.

Art is going to get his rig checked out tomorrow in Tillamook and told me to "fish without him if he can't get back in time" so we ARE launching out of Wheeler at 1:00 there are 2 for sure hope for Art and Minnowmagnet will already be on the water crabbing first and I hope he can save a few salmon for us before we get out there.

Before the electrical issues the plan was to hit Nehalem Tuesday and the bay Wednesday where as he would catch fish didn't say what species.

Thinking of launching at Wheeler about 10:30 and catching in coming tide. Going to use herring. Want to try out my new 6' 6'' rod and a flasher I made.

Good luck, fellas! Hope to try both fisheries in the next week or two. Going to a crabbing clinic in Lincoln City Wednesday.

Went out solo with my wife's propel and my youngest son just out to paddle the tuna. I had one take down didn't stuck and got half my herring. Art had his RV checked and nothing was wrong so it had to be an issue with the electrical here even though the maintenance guy here said all ok. So hopefully he can catch a salmon farther south enjoyed having him and his wife for company last night at dinner. Hitting the Tillamook bay tomorrow 8 am launch if that changes I will post up.

Ok no takers on the bay we're going after salmon tomorrow , Wheeler launch 12:00-1:00 pm. Minnowmagnet most likely earlier to launch
