Few of us going to Tillamook tomorrow for some salmon and maybe rockfish.  Crabbing for some too maybe? Launching around 7 follow the tide in to ghost hole and maybe take the tide out to do some bottom fishing depending on how we do.  Anyone is welcome to join!

Low tide is 0957 hrs high tide is 1538 hrs ,wind is forecasted for s 5-10 mph so if it "IS"light wind and we're not too damn tired then catching the tide out to rockfish around 1300 hrs and maybe troll low slack around Lester's corner if we still need some salmonoid's on the deck. Going to be a warm one as well 71*

Call in well!

Don't temp me man, my reporting manager is actually taking the day off tomorrow too.  He would never notice if I snuck out for a bit to do some fishing...

It was great seeing all the kayak anglers on the water today. I can't wait to see the reports from the afternoon excursion. My old age kicked in about noonish but was happy to grab this nice hen in the morning.

Ya ya F'n Minnowmagnet strikes again. Just one small rockfish for me not worthy of a photo. Had a blast though.

jk... way to go... again.

Hey Mojo, why were you not following him around?   I would of just tied a line from the back of his kayak to the front of mine...   ;) ;)

I was following him a few times but he nailed that before I even got on the water.
Someone said we need to change his name to F'n Mm but I'm thinking we need to hide his mirage drive >:D
Let me upright that picture for you.
For those that catch the salmon WE SALUTE YOU

It was so nice at the coast on Wednesday, I decided to stick around and try Nehalem Bay today. Fished out at the jetty really hard in the morning and finally got a native coho to the boat. This time, I didn't get a hook through my thumb while releasing it so that was great. Next fish came almost to the boat, but got a long release near the net. I'm pretty sure it was another native coho. I lost one more fish that was hooked briefly and then was rewarded for my perseverance with a nice little hatchery chinook!
Did some crabbing after that and only got four. In the late afternoon I tried upriver in Nehalem for a couple of hours and there were coho jumping all over the place but no more bites.
I am going to be out of the country next year for most of the fall salmon season, so just trying to stock up on the good times. Don't hate me. Hope this report can be helpful for somebody.
