Hello, guys, greetings from Hillsboro OR!
I only started fishing about a year ago. Got a hobie mirage classic shortly after that. Having been taking me forever to move my butt and rig it up for fishing. But I think I am finally close to be done. Very much looking forward to eventually  join you guys on the water!

I am in Cornelius and do a lot of fishing out at Hagg Lake.  Unfortunately that's all I do is fishing, not too much catching.  We'll see you around.

I took my kayak to hagg at times to test out things. Not too much catching either. Fishing from a kayak does present new opportunities and challenges compared with fishing from the bank.
Still, as long as I am making continues improvement, I am not too bothered by getting skunked.
I suspected the addiction of fishing works on the same physiological basis as gambling. The inherent uncertainty of fishing vs catching only adds to the fun of the pursuit.

Welcome to the site. I fished out of a hobie Classic for a while. Nice light weight boat, very quick in a sprint. Not much room but still a fun fishing platform.

Noha, the image and videos of your mirage classic are the very few on the Internet that shows this kayak off for fishing. When I was rigging it up, I have definitely took some good ideas from it. Thanks a lot the pictures!
I agree with everything you said about the mirage classic. The storage is definitely short on this kayak.
