Rudy, we will definitely have to meet up some time. I prefer to kayak fish with a buddy when I can, for safety.

I was on track for a fish every month this year, but if the weather forecast stays bad it looks like my November prospects are over. I don't know the first thing about ice fishing, and Wanda sucked up all of my fishing gear budget for a while, so I'm not going to be outfitting myself for ice fishing any time soon ;)

I don't know what you think of this law passed with GMO salmon but it looks like I will be fishing more and more from my kayak.

I agree, Mong.  At least when I catch it I know where it came from, how old it is, and how it's been handled. Especially fish imports from China scare me

sorry I missed you. needed to beef up my kids socks and Headwear for winter fishing. high tide  is 1:30 ish tomorrow meaning I'm hoping about 3pm till dark is going to be prime time. by the weekend the high tide will be closer to dark meaning most of the day will be spent fishing the incoming tide which at least for me accounts for fewer fish. but ya never know. I'll post up a report as soon as I have one.

hopefully roads are not bad.

just as an Fyi, Friday will be an odd day. first light coincides with low tide. so the first hour might be ok. last light will be just as the tide gets good. the rest of the day will likely be slow. but if bait is in the water,  you always have a chance.
