There are certainly some big Crappie out at Hagg if you look hard enough for them.

I got this guy casting into a submerged dead fall in the Sain Creek arm, on an 1/8th oz metal flake curly tail grub.

Have caught several others in the 10" range at Hagg as well.

Craig, never seen anyone bleed a crappie! Must have been quite a fighter.

I bleed everything I keep.  Just makes for a better tasting fish in my opinion.

Dang, that's a big crappie for this side of the mountains!

Hagg has some big fish in there, just not a large number of them.  Several years back Isaac "The Nothing" caught a 13" yellow perch down by the dam while we were trolling for trout in the summer.

Went up today...hoping to be on the front end of a cleaner lake and maybe catch a few. Not. Very milky water...heard of 2 caught...1 bite for me. Beautiful day, completely fogged for awhile, forced me to figure out a few functions on my Gps. Hope this silt settles down soon. ..might have  to switch to Springers!
