how far "west" does one have to be to join in?  I've been known to travel great distances for silly things like fishing and pub-n-grub chatter.

Check the first page, 2nd or 3rd post pretty much explains it.   :icon_thumright:

No it doesn't.  I tells us how far West folks will be when you get together, but not how far west one has to be to join in.

You guys are all Easterners to me...    >:D
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

So let me clarify if there is possibly any cornfuzion.

If you live on earth you are most welcome to join us on a west side get together.
By west side, I am refering to meeting up somewhere on the west side of Hillsboroish.

If you normally can't make the PDX meet ups due to a long drive from the west westy west, then this may be just for you!

By posting up your general location to add to the growing list of folks interested, we can average out a reasonable location that can help pull in more isolated folks from the west side. We can do a vote on a few places once we have some stats to work with.

If you live as far west as Hawaii, then that means you probably have better things to do than meet with us.
If you are anywhere on the Oregon coast, coastal foot hills, Tualitan Plains, southwesties, northwesties, etc post up and we'll see how many folks join and can lean the average for a meet up closer to ya'll in that direction.

Idaho is further west than Hawaii and Alaska if you go far enough around.  ;D

I would still definitely be interested in a fishing meetup.  I also know of several people in the west side of Portland that are not included.  Any new additions to the group?

We could chase trout at Hagg Lake in the morning then head over to McMenamins for lunch or dinner (depending on how well the fish cooperate).
