Great submissions for AOTY points this month, guys!  Was just checking out the standings and the new fish.  Hope to see some fall chinook points soon.

We have an exciting seesaw battle on our hands folks.  Crackergraham has reclaimed the lead with an excellent channel cat!

This is shaping up to be a competitive final quarter of AOTY.  You guys are getting me stoked to go fishing.

Thanks!  Not sure what Im going to do about the 10th species, since Coho is closed in the rivers here. Maybe i can get out and find a Cabezon.

Nice Chinook Merz.  I was curious about your tenth too.  You can still fish some of the lakes for Coho right?  I think the state record came from one of them.

There are a few lakes near here that are open. Ive fished them the last few years without much luck. Im going to give it a try again but am not too optimistic with the lower predicted returns and increased pressure with the rivers closed. I still have a week to try and catch one in the ocean also if i can find time and the conditions are ok.

Wait a month and then take a drive north for a big snaggle toothed chum.

Theres a good idea. I'd be willing to make the drive but i've never fished for them, so I'll have to do some research or find someone to tag along with. I see Crackergraham got a nice one last year. Not sure he will want to help me out though, haha.

HOW has done a Chum tourney the last several years ... not sure if they are planning another. All the Washington HOW guys are chum slayers

I'm there, if they do it. Seems like they would have started planning it by now though.

Definitely make the trip.  I'll show you the ropes.  Slayride is a great time... No matter what the weather decides to do. I'll teach you the chum fishery if you teach me your chinook spot next year.
