Can the suits be shortened? Any yellow?

Kokatat will make some adjustments to a special-order drysuit, but while I don't know for sure, I doubt that includes shortening any part of it.  I know for sure that they'll change sock sizes, but beyond that, I know nothing.  I'd like them to do some of these in yellow, too - since they still use yellow for the Hydrus Meridian - but the Cap'n said that these will be in the current tangerine or denim blue colors.

Measuring Instructions....

To figure out which size, I want to take my measurements, and correctly. I see Hips, and Chest, but and it says "widest point". But what if your widest point is your belly/gut ? Is that the chest measurement, the hips measurement, or is it covered under "girth" ?

Girth is the measurement around you, over a shoulder and through the crotch.  If it helps, there's room above the waist, but if you're concerned, call Kokatat or Kayak Shed for some advice.

Mine is tangerine-colored and I carry a bit of extra me above the waist.  I look a lot like the Great Pumpkin in profile...

I'm pretty sure they can shorten but I think there is a charge for each custom measurement. Like Tinker, suggested I'd give Langston at the Kayak Shed a call on Monday.

Although my wader and dry-top combo has served me safely and well for years, I will be getting in on this deal.

FYI for anyone still interested in picking up one of these. I just got off the phone with Kayak Shed and they plan to make their final order of these drysuits before the end of March. They expect delivery by mid May.
