Thanks for the update...just ordered one with the track mount and an extension. An bonus, the discount nearly covers the shipping.

I've got a Scotty mounted with the Gearhead adapter currently, but I don't care for how much movement there is with the single point of contact on the rail.

Just got the Stealth rod holder...awesome design, really like the track adapter, but my bigger jigging and halibut rods don't fit. Guess I'll stick with the Scotty gearhead track adapters. They are so much easier to lock into place without having to line up the tabs inside.

Is that a Shimano Trevala you've got mounted in your Stealth holder? If so, I'm planning on getting one, then the Stealth will be back in play.

It's a Penn Mariner (super short)

Not sure yet. I will try it out and let you know. It was fine up to salmon rod sized handle; I didn't try my sturgeon rods.

Finally remembered to do this. It fit 2/4 of my heavy rods; it definitely won't fit a fat-handled heavy rod.
