Huddleston pond March 20th fosho

Ok Lawyerbob shot me a text for a lake invite that I'd love to try in the truest of NWKA fashion.... Hit it hard and in numbers  ... But seriously there stocking it with 200 larger and 200 trophies the week before so let's have a little north central-ish get together. What day works best for most ? Saturday or Sunday.

If I try to upload more then two pics at a time my iPhone times out. 

Looking like Palm Sunday the 20th will be the best shot for for me as the father in law wants to go solo in one of my yaks for the first time  if you need a good laugh early on join us should be a hoot till he gets it down.

For anyone who hasn't been there before, while it's 10-12' deep in most places, only the top 3-4' are fishable due to weeds. You'll want to plan accordingly. Bobbers or fishfinder rigs with light lead and long leaders have done well.

I typically fish this from the bank but figured it's about time to get my 'yak wet!

I'm bringing a newb who wants to try kayak fishing.

2 for my party , so we're all clear the 20th 10 am ish or earlier launch we will most likely be there 8-9 ish.

I'll be there.  I picked up a Hobie i11s yesterday and this would be a good first or second trip to learn the boat.  I'm hoping to get to Hagg Lake on Friday but if not then Sunday will work for the maiden voyage.

I may show up.  Let me know which day you select.  Thanks for sending out the email....

I'm planning on making it up there. I'll be hitting Sunset on Friday and then up here on Sunday. I might bring my 8 yr old.....depending on if he can stay out of trouble for the week

I got a dollar that says Shannon can walk from one side the the other, just stepping from kayak to kayak. Anyone want to bring their GoPro to capture it ?

No.  Not this time.  I do plan on trying my hand at surf fishing though.

Can anyone that is coming bring an extra kayak for my fresh out of the Marine Corps godson Isaac and possibly his dad if not they will be stuck in float tubes.
