I have had my slayer propel 13 for 3 months now.  I have been fishing for sea run cutthroat almost every weekend since in the south sound.  My first reaction to it was "why didn't I start doing this years ago".  I have loved it.  I am a fly fisherman and SRC fishing is closest to my comfort zone.  Although, I am excited to fish salmon and get out to the coast for rockfish.  Hopefully this forum can help me figure out the where when and how of it.

Welcome!  Lots of people down here in south sound to meet up with.  Where have you taken your Slayer out?

Olalla mostly and penrose park. Went out to dewatto bay on an unsuccessful exploratory trip last weekend.  I have been on a few of those looking for good SRC or resident coho spots that are more secluded but haven't found my spot yet.

Cool...  Have you talked with the fine folks at gig harbor fly shop about where they go for cutts?  Guessing you may have acquired the boat from them, only local dealer as far as I know...

Big welcome from 884 land.

I haven't done much fly fishing in a lot of years, but recently gotten into fishing for kokanee.  Theres is a great little Kokanee lake in our neck of the woods that doesn't allow motorized boats! If you like flounder there are some decent sized ones on the south side of Fox Island around Big Rock.

Fish on the right side that's where the fish are! John 21:6

I am no longer a dealer for Wavewalk but if you ever want to paddle one let me know!
