Probably can't find as knowledgeable a salesman as you can in the people here.  Spend a little time here asking questions and you'll see what I mean.  Welcome Seth.

Hobie Northwest at Magnussen Park!  Dan let me try 2 Hobies with Mirage drive, he's generous with his time and very knowledgeable .  For fishing, this site is the mother lode!

Outdoor Emporium has a lot of S>O>T's but dunno if any of their staff are kayakers, and no demos.

I wouldn't buy a SOT at Outdoor Emporium...  great, knowledgable guys about fishing stuff but they don't know jack about kayaks.  I have also noticed that they are selling at least one blem at regular price.  If you want to actually sit in a SOT at a local store, the downtown REI is a better bet or if you don't mind driving out to the eastside Aquasports Paddle Center also has a decent selection at times.

Talk to Bob at Ship to Shore in Gig Harbor. He will steer you in the right direction and you might be able to get a real deal as well.

The West Coast Sea Kayaking Symposium will be help Sept 19-21 at Port Townsend ... http://www.wcsks.org/

There are usually reps from Ocean Kayak, Hobie, and Wilderness Systems.

Backpacker's Supply in Tacoma is also a good source for OK's and WS's.  They'll be at the WCSKS as well.

I'd be at the WCSKS if it weren't for the Pac City derby.  That's an option too.  They'll be plenty of knowledgeable people at that derby with lots of yaks that I'm sure people would be more than willing to let others demo.
