Thanks Aaron

I haven't fished out of Sunset yet, but if weather continues to look good I'm willing to give it a shot. Need to finish getting a few things for my kayak (mostly the ff mounted and a few other small things). Plus I need to test out this new drysuit and well, the Revo I just picked up.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Friday but I'm trying not to get too excited. I have one pack of lingcod left, I need fish!

Lol. Barely big enough for bait. Another few years though and you'll see her out there with me.

Fishing looks good

Looks like a high tide at 910 friday morning with light to mild winds and 2.5 to 3' swells at 11 sec. Seems more than doable to me. I'm going to launch from Sunset at around 745 or 8. Lmk if any of you can commit

Thanks Aaron

it felt like a narrow window Friday as the wind came up mid-morning from the south adding to the swell coming from the south...I'm sure most the guys that stayed out longer got limits; I lost a good sized ling early but got some nice blacks, so when the wind really started pushing me around I decided to declare my first day fishing the salt a success and head in...I'll get a big ling next time!  cheers, roger

Well done, Roger!  Thanks for the report and the video.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.
