This may or may not be of assist...
Helped a friend install Yakima tracks on his Astro Van. Very easy installation with the "Plus-Nuts"

I would take extra care drilling into the roof of any of the newer RV's with the rubber roof. Be best to make sure to seal the holes very well. A new roof will set you back several thousands.

I know you may not wish to trailer, but the newer kayak trailers are very light tongue weight (easy to move about by hand) and weigh very little. I used a Malone Micro Sport purchased from ACK for a couple of years and considered myself fortunate I found it as a solution; worked excellent.

Should you happen to find the trailer idea is good, E-mail or PM me; I did some mods that made it very usable.
P.s. sold the kayaks and trailer cannot help you there.

Keep in mind diagonal across the back you would gain a foot or two matching the receiver hitch height m. You might be surprised, I'll measure the back of my Sierra diagonally.

First you need at least a 6' ladder and a place to carry that... The lift to the roof will be interesting.

As I recall, he was going to fly down from AK and drive it back, so no tow vehicle.

Not exact on the measurements as I was solo.. I gained almost 3 ft going diagonal get a pipe or board that is the same length as your oasis hold it up there diagonally.

I pondered this same issues back when I got my first kayak, and also owning a truck camper on a 4x4 truck.  The roof is 11ft off the ground.  I attempted roof top storage once and decided quickly enough that I will not be going that way.  Way too much work and I would have probably quit taking the kayak with me in the end.

Trailer was born and no turning back.

I vote for a tow'd vehicle with a roof rack on it as well.

A Trebuchet ought to get an Oasis on top of that RV, with a little practice.

Post #22 is why this board REALLY needs a "like" feature.

I'm a +1 on the trailer idea, +3 on the trebuchet! An articulating arm loader like this, might help but still a long lift.

Also the EPDM membrane can be damaged easier than one would think. So as others have suggested carry extra Dicor self-leveling sealant and extra EPDM patch material. Don't ask why I know this, just saying. And it's not as easy to fix in the PNW rain.

Yesterday I saw a winch operated boat loader on top of a full size truck - like a powered lumber rack the size of s sheet of plywood.  Maybe a powered roller pull like that could be adapted to your vehicle?

Ok so that rig is a little taller then TLW's Subaru Outback but that just seems like way over kill... A Malone seawing with the slide cradle works the same but way easier to deal with just my $0.02

A lot of people lash some big and heavy stuff to the ladder.  A little imagination and the Hobie should be stable lashed there, standing vertically.

OR

The RV should come with a hitch.  Buy one of those racks that folks use to carry extra gear that attach to the hitch and again using a bit of imagination, figure out how to use that to carry the Hobie.

OR

Find an RV Service Center and have them install an RV roof rack.  Most have factory rails up there for lashing light objects, but I don't see them in the photo of yours.  The Service Center will know where the structural members are and they know how to seal the roof - and warrantee the work.

Two observations:

1) The web version numbers posts differently from Tapatalk. This is inconceivable to me, yet it is so. So don't be thrown off by my "#22" reference, which was in fact aimed at Pedro's trebuchet video.

2) I am still deeply disappointed by the fact that Mojo put alligator teeth on the bow of his kayak before I could. Having seen it takes all the zest out of life for me.

3) I concur with putting this in the hands of the RV accessory purveyor. This CAN'T be the first time this problem was solved.
