Sorry if there are too many pictures! By the way guys - I appreciate if somebody wanna share personal experience with this model. Of course, I already read all reviews and watched all YouTube movies. But honestly there are not too many of them yet. Thank you in advance! :)

Congrats! I've been fishing from the thresher for about a year and a half now, and I love it. Great for bigger/coastal water but I've used it quite a bit in smaller fresh water and it handles great. It's been my go to for everything from bottom fishing in the salt to duck hunting in the bay.
Get that thing wet and feel free to shoot me any questions you might have

TP - thank you! Do you have any advises in rudder purchase? I been looking and there are two kinds of rudder - https://www.austinkayak.com/products/14311/Wilderness-Systems-Focus-Rudder-Kit-Molded-Pin.html and and https://www.austinkayak.com/products/18197/Wilderness-Systems-Rudder-Kit.html

They look pretty much the same, but first one is 50 bucks cheaper. So I cannot decide which one to choose...

No, sorry! Looks like first one is only for kayaks with molded pin. So there is only one choice and hell expensive choice)

I fish a Jackson Big Tuna AKA the Aircraft Carrier I have no rudder and haven't needed one I use a paddle to change direction. Just my $0.02

Mojo - thank you! I like the idea, I think I will try it without rudder first.

That first rudder kit is specific to the Focus line of touring kayaks, not sure it would fit, I doubt it. The thresher has a molded pin slot for the rudder, but it has different dimensions than the focus, I believe this is the correct rudder kit: http://www.wildernesssystems.com/us/products/rudder-kit-solo-kit

I had a rudder on my boat originally and I ended up taking it off. Totally personal preference but to me the thresher tracks pretty true as is. It is a rockered, high volume boat so at times the wind can be a pain but I've found, like Mojo said, using your paddle and proper technique more than compensates for a rudder. The main reasons I took it off were: 1) just another thing that's adding weight and can break/malfunction. 2) the thresher is a killer boat in moving water and surf, I wanted a more solid foot brace than a rudder system can provide. It totally depends on where you want to go and what you want to do out of your boat.

I would recommend paddling and fishing out of it for a while before you drop the 280 on a rudder kit. It's totally preference, lots of guys I know that paddle the thresher have a rudder and would never paddle without it, and just as many don't.  If you find that you want one, it's a really easy addition down the road.

Thanks for all the pictures - that is a nice looking ride! You're going to like that AirPro 3 seat - I love mine on the Tarpon140. I really like the center console area they kind of stole from the OK Trident - best of both worlds, IMHO (since I don't prefer the OK seat system).

Looking forward to on-the-water pictures soon!

The Thresher really looks like it has a lot going on there.  A lot of cool features incorporated into it.
