I'm around 300 pounds. But I'm looking for a kayak for the cda lake and the surrounding lakes or streams.

Gonna mod it with fish finder and possibly a live well and navigation lights.

Maybe the rudder? Mod. Not even sure how to spell it at this point haha.

Any of you guys suggest one or a few? Preferably one that won't leave me homeless after I buy it?

I'm married with 4 kids and a 5th that we just found out about in about 7 months.

Price around 800-1100. Picking up a trailer soon so that isn't a concern. Just waiting on my tax return to come in.

You might check out a Wavewalk.

This fellow here was 300lbs.  Stable, comfortable, and no gymnastics getting in and out when you get to shore.

Fish on the right side that's where the fish are! John 21:6

I am no longer a dealer for Wavewalk but if you ever want to paddle one let me know!

Take a look at the Cobra Fish and Dive.  Great kayak that has a capacity of 600lbs.  you wouldn't be sorry to own one.

Looks like Cobra is temporarily down. The Fish n Dive is a great platform. If you find a used one for sale online in great shape and a reasonable price, grab it.
