So I was just wondering if it's ok to leave my lure 13.5 kayak on the cart/dolly and have the front of it supported by a box or something? That's currently how I have mine setup. Was wondering if you all had other ideas? Is your stand easy to take kayak off and on?
Let's hear some ideas and see some pics!

As long as it's a cart with a cradle, not posts through the scuppers, I think you're fine.

My Talic seahorse stand just arrived and I'm using that for my Outback. Mrs. P's Tarpon 10 is hanging from one of those pully system deals.

My three-kayak wheeled stand.   These photos were taken before I put carpet on the supports.   These supports slide so I can adjust width for the kayak.

My wife's KC12 needs 2x4 supports because the hull is almost a trimaran shape.  That goes on the bottom, then the Outback then the Big Tuna.   The cart can roll through the garage door with kayaks loaded.

After a while the cradles will leave indents. Best to store on its side long term.

Will definitely keep an eye out for this.   These are softwood 2x2s and have considerable flex to them.   I've noticed one developing a handy twist under the Big Tuna to match the curve of the hull.

Fitting all three kayaks in 1/2 of one garage bay while staying under garage door opening height was the goal.

I think every manufacturer says to store their kayaks across padded rails upside down or on padded rails exactly on their side - perpendicular to the floor.

The lower hull will deform - "oil can" - if stored on a cart, stored right-side up, or stored on an angle with weight pressing against the lower hull.

Check the manufacturer's web site for storage instructions.

Just saying.

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Built this a couple weeks ago. Not sure how I like it, but it goes get two boats into the footprint of just one. The bottom boat doesn't get much use, so this design will probably work just fine for me.

I set mine up so I can back into my shop and winch it up or down on to my truck rack.

You can make a nice cradle with some wide nylon webbing and the cheapo HF stands.

Rats!  The HF stand is even cheaper than my PVC stand, and they look a lot alike.
