Clearly you guys worded it wrong to your better half. 

They are safety orange so that means they are a "safety" item.  And they are silly cheap!
This should be a no brainer to pass through your finance department.

Ok so when I told TLW that she said remember THAT when she buys makeup and I asked if it was going to be safety orange and she said no but don't worry I won't see past the bouy she's going to slap me with.
