Did a little pre-fishing today for the Chinook Showdown.... Hopefully there will be another around tomorrow!

Someone said who's going to catch the "one" fish out there, now we know and it was a whole day early. You got the 110 gallon fish tank at home all preped and running to keep that alive till tomorrow or you got a live tank on a dock around there somewhere?

Thanks guys!  It's always nice to catch a springer but it's even better when none of powerboats are getting any.  Both days, I had the lucky rod while none of the boats I talked with had managed a bite.

Here's a pic of the lucky lure on Friday.  It's tied up on spinner wire but has two size 3 octopus hooks tied up like a mooching rig but with a minimal gap between.
