New guy Oregon coast

Hello everybody, I am a PC doryman and in the past spent many of hours in my kayak, not only in the PNW, but also SE Alaska. I still drag my kayak out in the summer months. There has been a few episodes lately at cape Kiwanda and just felt being a little closer to the kayak community would help with these situations in the future. Most of you I have met down there are top notch captains. Carry on!

Welcome! The recent incidents you mentioned have been very unfortunate, thank you for realizing most of us are responsible captains.

Yeah, +1 on what all the other guys said. I've seen a couple things that were of concern at some events also. Yes, I'm being intentionally vague. Maybe we can talk about that in a members only room.
