Anchor point King derby...who's going?

Just a quick update. Just weighed in my fish. 23.5 lbs. they said it's the biggest one so far but it's still very early. I heard another kayaker caught one but I'm not sure who it was. Caught a couple chickens a mile offshore after my king. Awesome day!

Great fish!!!  I released a king and that was it...other than the 40 halibut plus my son and I caught. kept the three largest. 20, 25, 35 ish fish. of course Ryu got the two biggest. lol.

Well I ended up taking 3rd. Less than a pound off second place. First place fish was 34 pounds I think. Maybe I shouldn't have bled my fish! Damn, oh well that was an awesome day. Met another kayaker named Aaron I think. He caught a 19 lb king which was the first fish of the derby. I think they're starting to take notice of us fellas....

Congrats Swanson way to represent

I can't seem to upload the pictures using my iPhone.  Anyone else having this problem?  No, I don't use taptalk...just safari browser.

I caught 2 King around 10pm last night.  Wanted to share beautiful sunset just before the 1st King took me for a ride.  After 10 minutes later round two of epic night fishing adventure...bagged it for proxy.

Earlier that day, I caught 30lb and 12lb halibut but nothing beats king salmon fishing.

Congrats Swanson and it was nice meeting you.
