This is what I came up with for the flyer.

The awards ceremony and crappie fry will be at Lee Stevenson Memorial Lions Park in Huntington. No adult drinks have been donated yet, but I'll have some water and sodas there. There will be fish and chips to nibble on, but feel free to bring whatever you like.

I am looking for a good batter recipe to try out, so if you have one please send it to me.

I will be camped at Spring Recreation Site from about Thursday, so stop by and say hi.-jed

Just heard a report of crappie being caught down by the cemetery/Morgan creek area.

I can always find a home for some crappie. I will have a cooler with ice for anyone who wants to donate their catch on Saturday, just try to limit it to a hundred or so. There will be a few of us fishing on Friday if anyone is interested. Cat fishing with the koosies at night.-jed

I'd be bummed that I'm missing a Halibut weekend for this tournament but the truth is, I'll probably catch an equal # of lbs of crappie as I would of halibut.  I'm looking forward to the hours of fish on time!
