Good luck tomorrow!  Hopefully you'll be able to get out on the ocean.

Good luck to everyone fishing today!  Hope you land a few beasts.  It looks like the conditions are good!

For Saturday it looks like the morning is best.  Below are the screen shots for Depoe Bay and Pacific City conditions.  They both look pretty decent early in the morning.  I plan on leaving Portland around 5ish for depoe bay (or pacific city if people want to switch).  I should arrive near 6:30 and hope to launch near 7.  If the water doesn't look friendly then i will join others at lost lake or Tillamook bay.

Hope to hear some good reports from today!

How often is Magic Seaweed wrong?  I'm looking at the surf for Friday at Pacific City which suddenly went from flat to unmanageable, but other surf sites are saying it's still looking flat?  Saturday is also looking flat.

Any thoughts?

I think the model glitched for tomorrow; if you look at the next spot north and south of there on Magic Seaweed it's still flat Friday.

Are you headed out tomorrow?  Good luck if you do!  Feel free to join us on Saturday if Friday is too bumpy

I am curious how today was for Mojo and crew.  The surf prediction for both today and tomorrow jumped up all of a sudden.  The camera still doesnt look that bad and some dory boats are launching.

I am excited to hear as well.  I am hoping for heavy stringers for them all.

I was wondering the same.  Me and a buddy are still planning on heading down to PC on Sat morning.  Crossing our fingers.

Looks like the forecast is updated and its flat tomorrow.  Looking at the webcam today, it's like a lake.  I'm heading down tomorrow for a morning launch.  Probably bring a crab pot as well.

Myself and two or three others plan to go out to PC tomorrow still.

It was a good surf this AM like magic seaweed said, but it was manageable.  We all made it out and back with no problems.  The swells were big, but with the tide out the breakers at PC were in 3 ft of water.  I'm sure Mojo can elaborate more when he has time.

a cold front is forecast to move in on Friday evening and bring rain to the coast on Saturday.   Not seeing this reflected to any great degree on MSW.
"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."

One can always count on Mojo to elaborate.
