Had a great day at pacific city. I met several members from NWKA and had a great time. Thanks to captain redbeard for the grubs. They got me into a lot of fish. And thanks to those who taught me how to filet a fish and Samm for the bags. I had a great time I got a 24 inch long and a 29.5 inch blue ling.

I used a stinger hook on a larger jig and the larger ling had both in him. I am glad I had those in there. He was shaking like crazy.

Zach, glad you found someone out there.  Didn't see you after we launched.  The two of us caught our limits of Bass, kept 3 lings, let 3 more dinks go and released about 20+ bass.  Great day on the water.  The whales 30 yards away was a little spooky though.

Glad you had a great day at Depoe Bay today.  PC was very fishable today - minimal swell and wind were pretty hard to beat.  You may not be too happy to hear...  Came in on a minimal surf, landing with the bottom side staying down, and the top side staying up.   ;)

I almost took a ride coming in. I was exhausted from the paddle and did not time the waves. I went surfing and leaned back a as far as possible and got lucky. Had a great time

Keep counting those days because it's never a matter of "if" but only "when" your getting a turn in the spin cycle. And if your good at battening down your hatches and stowing your gear your in good shape, unless your really in bad shape then make sure there's at least three people on shore one to help you collect your yard sale, one to video tape it , the rest to point and laugh because that shiza is funny as long as the dirty laundry comes out of the cycle unhurt.

Hey Zach. Here's a couple of good videos that can help with landings. I watched you come in and you'll definitely want to work on doing some bracing. Also, you'll want to stay a bit further off the rocks next time. If/when you flip you don't want to end up getting pushed into them. Good fishing with you!

Sorry if my advice led you astray! :) I just meant get in the shelter of the cape. Glad you didn't dump on account of me.
